$ 2 Million Accord In Scaffold MishapAug 21, 1996 | New York Law Journal A STRUCTURED settlement with a present value of $ 2 million was reported this week on behalf of a 37-year-old carpenter who suffered multiple disc herniations when a scoffold on which he was working tipped over and fell when hit by slabs of sheetrock.

The accord was reached during the damages phase of a bifurcated trial before Bronx Supreme Court Justice Joseph Giamboi.
Mr. Grassano was represented by Herbert L. Waichman and Martine M. Thurin of Parker & Waichman of Great Beck; Falco Construction by Harry Lynch of Beesecker & Koors of Tarrytown; Island Acoustics by Carol L. Schlitt of Acito & Klein.
