Bentley Motors Has Recalled Vehicles

Jan 1, 2004 | The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced.

Bentley Motors, Inc.

Models: Bentley Arnage R Years: 2002-2004

Bentley Arnage RL Years: 2003-2004

Bentley Arnage T Years: 2002-2004

Bentley Arnage LWB Years: 2002-2004

Bentley Arnage Limousine Years: 2002-2004

Number Potentially Involved: 343

Dates of Manufacture: February 2002 – July 2003

Defect: On certain passenger and limousine vehicles, contact can occur between a brake pipe, fuel pipe and the antilock braking system (ABS) modulator pump. Should this happen, it could result in eventual abrasive damage to either pipe, leading to possible leakage. This could affect the stopping distance when the brakes are applied, which could result in a crash, or a fire could result if there is leakage from the fuel line.
