Clinton Nursing Home CitedAug 12, 2003 | AP
A Clinton nursing home has been cited after alleged violations were found by a team of state and federal inspectors.
The state has accused Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation of several violations, including failing to report a suspected case of abuse and leaving residents to sit in their wheelchairs for hours without being taken to the bathroom.
The alleged violations were found after complaints by a man whose mother is at the nursing home.
Eagle Point faces no fines but must devise a plan to correct the problems.
The nursing home's administrator has referred all questions to the home's owners, a California-based company called Covenant Care. There was no immediate comment from the company.
