Every day, many patients go in and out of surgery having major medical problems solved by their doctors. At some point, the doctor may insert a device to help you live a healthier life.
But when a doctor fails to put that medical device in correctly, what do you do? Our client had this very issue as a mesh was inserted to repair a hernia. This device was positioned improperly and not only caused the hernia to relapse, but gave this woman pain and adhesions inside her body.
As a result, our client had to follow up with numerous doctors, physicians, and rely on medication to try and regain her health. The fear and the stress of this ordeal triggered a disorder known as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This disorder handicapped her from living a full life without psychiatrists, doctors, and numerous health issues that seem to never be resolved.
