Kawasaki Crash Risk: Off Highway Vehicles Recalled
May 3rd, 2012 tmccoy
Kawasaki USA, the popular maker of off road vehicles that are used all over the country, has recalled one of their products. The Teryx, a 4 wheel, off highway vehicle Kawasaki produces, has been recalled because it was sold with a deficient label which stated a higher seating capacity than is safely allowable.
The seating capacity sticker is located in the glove compartment, and users are instructed not to use their vehicles until receiving a replacement safety sticker from the company. Users can install the sticker themselves, and no injuries or deaths have yet been reported in connection with the recall.
Over 2000 of these vehicles have already been sold, so owners should take precaution and not use the product until the new label arrives.
