Wife Suffers Stage 4 Bedsores Within Weeks of Entering Nursing Home

As a husband, you promise to love, cherish, and keep someone safe for your entire life in sickness and in health. So that’s exactly what one husband did when his wife became completely immobile and needed his assistance with her daily life.
He would dress his wife, change her adult diapers, reposition her in bed, and did everything he needed to keep her healthy and safe. It was only once he began to get older and could not physically due this did he send her to a nursing home for proper treatment.
And shockingly enough, this nursing home had abused his wife within less than a month. With only 3 weeks into her stay at the facility, his wife had developed stage 4 bedsores on her lower back. Stage 4 is so severe that the skin, muscle, and tissue are actually deteriorated so much that you can actually see her back bone through her skin. During all the years he cared for his wife, she never once received a bed sore. And now, here she is not being repositioned by the staff to ensure this doesn’t happen. They didn’t change her diapers often and she lied in her own urine, which only made her situation worse. They didn’t make arrangements for a special mattress or relieve any of the pressure that was put on her back allowing the bed sore to develop.
