Prior to joining Parker Waichman, Mr. Dubanevich was the head of the environmental litigation department for a large New York based plaintiffs’ law firm. Mr. Dubanevich has represented municipal water districts and private individuals throughout New York, New England and Florida in ground water contamination cases related to the release of petroleum products containing the additive Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (“MTBE”), creosote, arsenic and other hazardous chemicals. He has facilitated the recovery of tens of millions of dollars on behalf of plaintiffs damaged by environmental contamination. Mr. Dubanevich represented hundreds of WTC rescue and recovery workers in the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund (VCF) and worked extensively in the World Trade Center litigation. Mr. Dubanevich was Director of Safety and Health for the New York State Building and Construction Trades’ Council, AFL-CIO, Director of the Hudson Valley regional Office for the New York Committee on Occupational Safety and Health, and President of Hudson Environmental Services. He has developed occupational and environmental compliance programs for labor and industry and lectured on the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act, (CERCLA), Clean Water Act (CWA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) standards.
