A new study is raising more concerns about the possible side effects of thiazolidinediones, a group of drugs that includes Actos and Avandia. GlaxoSmithKline has reportedly agreed to settle more than 20,000 Avandia heart attack lawsuits, according to a report from Bloomberg News.
