A Teen Died In A Deadly Bronx Car Crash. A 16-year-old boy is dead and a 15-year-old girl is critically injured following a deadly hit-and-run in the Bronx. CBS New York and Associated Press report that police are investigating the crash, which occurred on Jan. 4 just after 5 p.m.
Police say that the two teenagers were hit by a northbound Honda Accord while crossing Baychester Avenue. The 16-year-old was then struck by another vehicle heading south.
The Girl Was In Critical Condition At Jacobi Medical Center

Both cars initially fled the scene. The driver of the Honda returned and was taken into custody. The 26-year-old was arrested on charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
