Auto accident
SUWANNEE COUNTY, FL – According to an online news report at wtxl.com, a man, aged 85, tragically died and two others are in the hospital with serious injuries following a T-bone accident that occurred in Live Oak, Florida.
Per the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred close to rush hour earlier this week at the intersection of State Road 247 and County Road 49 in O’Brien, Florida. According to troopers, a blue GMC pickup truck was headed southbound on County Road 49 and was about to pass through an intersection when it came upon the path of a Ford F-150 that was headed northbound on State Route 247. As a result, the Ford F-150 then slammed into the GMC pickup truck on its passenger side, causing both of the automobiles to travel in a northerly direction following the impact of the accident. The GMC pickup ended up traveling onto the grassy median while the Ford F-150 slammed into a Black Dodge Charger that had been stopped at a stop sign on County Road 49.
A passenger in the GMC pickup truck was transported to a local hospital where they perished. It is not clear whether this individual is a male or female.
