The driver attempted to turn left onto 35th Avenue, and he was hit by the driver of a tan Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was moving on 35th Avenue in an eastbound direction, according to police statements. Emergency medical service personnel located the driver of the BMW, and the man was unresponsive. The man was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. At the hospital, the man was pronounced dead. A 27-year-old woman who was riding in the white BMW and the 30-year-old man who was operating the Jeep were both transported to the hospital. Both were injured, and both are in stable condition, according to the New York Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.
