
Two staten island women tragically killed
STATEN ISLAND, NY – According to an online news report from silive.com, two college friends were tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident in Queens, New York. According to the NYPD, the fatal accident occurred at 122nd Street and North Conduit Avenue. All of the accident victims resided in Brooklyn, New York.
According to a College of Staten Island spokeswoman, one of the victims in the accident was enrolled to attend the college in 2020, and the woman was studying sociology/anthropology. The other woman was a previous student at the college and was not registered with the college at the time of the fatal accident.
According to the police report and news story, law enforcement officers responded to a 911 call. The call stated that there was an accident involving a Nissan Altima and several injuries. The police responded to the accident at around 3:50 a.m.
A third fatal victim was a 21-year-old man who was also sadly pronounced dead at the accident scene. The fourth person involved in the fatal accident remained inside the motor vehicle and was then removed by EMS. He is a 24-year-old male, and he was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center to receive medical treatment of his injuries. He is listed as being in stable condition, according to a police statement.
The NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad is currently investigating the fatal accident.
