New Jersey State Police officers stated they would continue to investigate why the 53-year-old female motorist was sitting in her disabled vehicle when she was hit by another car. The State Police investigators said that a Toyota Rav 4 operated by the woman who died was disabled in a crash in the EZ-Pass express lanes on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway. State Police noted the area of the accident to be Washington Township. A 40-year-old man driving an Audi A4 from Saddle River, N.J. slammed into the Rav 4.
