STATEN ISLAND, NY- According to Silive.com, an accident that took place in Bulls Head on Richmond Avenue on Wednesday, December 6, 2018. The collision took place at around 1:45 in the afternoon.

Car accidents are extremely common events in the United States. Most of these crashes only cause property damage or injuries, but the death toll from car crashes each year is close to 40,000.
Car crashes are so common in fact that most people will be in more than one throughout the course of their lives. According to estimates determined by the insurance industry, each driver will likely crash their vehicle about one time every 17.9 years. These are the numbers for “average drivers.” While many people may think that they are better than average drivers, by definition, most drivers are average.
Throughout the course of a lifetime of driving, the number indicates that each of us can expect to be in between three or four vehicle collisions. Fortunately, most of the 10 million crashes that occur every year are not fatal.
Of course, drivers can reduce their risks of being in serious collisions by never driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and by staying attentive while behind the wheel. Most car accidents are not inevitable but are the result of mistakes and carelessness.
