According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recalled Hyundai motor vehicles are being recalled due to a defective connecting rod bearing in the engine that might cause damage, resulting in dangerous fires and stalls. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated that Hyundai would be notifying both owners and dealers about the recall.
