
Hit-and-Run Accident in Brooklyn
BROOKLYN, NY – A news report posted on nypost.com states that a motorcyclist was grievously killed in a hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn, New York. The fatal motorcycle accident occurred last Sunday.
The news article states that the 45-year-old motorcyclist was driving his Suzuki motorcycle at approximately 4 in the morning when he collided with a dark car. The location of the accident was at the intersection of Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Halsey Street, according to law enforcement officers.
The victim, a man from Charlotte, North Carolina, was transported to Interfaith Hospital. The NYPD said that the motorcyclist suffered “severe trauma to the head” and he was pronounced deceased at a local area hospital.
According to the NYPD, the at-fault Toyota Camry fled the accident scene after striking the motorcyclist. The NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad is currently investigating the motor vehicle accident. No further details were provided. The NYPD is searching for the car and driver involved in the fatal motorcycle accident in Brooklyn, New York.
