STATEN ISLAND, NY – According to an online news report posted on silive.com, a severe multiple-vehicle accident happened at a Home Depot parking lot entrance. The accident shut down Targee Street for several hours.
According to the news report, the collision occurred at approximately 12:55 PM. The report also states that several FDNY units answered the accident call. The accident involved a blue sedan and a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Substantial front-end damage was reported on the sedan, and the Dodge Ram pickup truck received damage to the truck’s driver- and passenger-side doors and windows.
The news report also stated that the NYPD also responded to the scene. NYPD officers also assisted by directing traffic as the accident crews handled the severe accident. Law enforcement officials released no additional information about the accident and the accident victims. There were no criminal charges reported at this time as the accident investigation continues.
