Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Mineola
A news report on xxlmag.com and the Associated Press states that the accident happened in the Mineola area of Nassau County, New York. The Nassau County Police stated that her father was walking between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue when he was hit by a motor vehicle at approximately 6 pm.
The at-fault driver then left the pedestrian accident scene, leaving the injured man lying on the ground. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital in critical medical condition. According to news reports, the victim was later identified as Nicki Minaj’s father. He tragically died as a result of his injuries over the weekend.
Nassau County Police Department have opened a homicide investigation to identify the vehicle and the driver that caused the death of Mr. Minaj. At this time, law enforcement investigators do not have a description of the driver or the motor vehicle involved in the pedestrian collision. The Nassau County Police Department has not provided any comments in the news report.
