According to an online news report posted on ny1.com, an E-bicycle rider was severely injured by an alleged hit-and-run collision with a car in Brooklyn. The driver of the motor vehicle who fled the scene of the accident is was found, arrested, and has been criminally charged. The victim sustained critical, non-life-threatening injuries.
The NYPD reported that the incident occurred at around midnight at the intersection of 18th Street and 10th Avenue in Windsor Terrace. Law enforcement investigators stated that the victim was riding the e-bike into the intersection when a gray SUV struck him and then fled the scene.

The boy was transported to a local area hospital, and he remains in critical medical condition.
