Saturn Recall Its VUE Due To A Defective Rear Suspension. Car company Saturn is going to recall nearly all of its VUE sport-utility vehicles, which regulators are investigating because the vehicle’s rear suspension failed during two government rollover tests.
Recall By GM Affects VUEs
The recall by the General Motors division affects 246,433 VUEs made from 2002-2004. “We’re not pleased with this, and we’re working hard to see it never happens again,” GM Vice Chairman John Devine said.
The unstable vehicle defect caught the ire of a lot of people in the United States as they appealed to authorities to give justice to the car buyers. The authorities, on the other hand welcome the appeal of people to make a thorough investigation to the case to finally give justice to those who bought the car, not knowing it has defective rear suspension .
The discovery of a defective rear suspension should set as a lesson that car manufacturers must be aware of the hazards and dangers on the road if the vehicles have production problems.
The left-rear suspension failed on VUEs in a test last month, and in June wheels twice collapsed during a 45-mph test with a sharp turn.
