According to the accident report, law enforcement officers responded to an emergency 911 phone call regarding a serious accident that occurred by the Flushing Ave exit of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. The accident was inside the 88 Precinct of Clinton Hill, New York, and occurred at approximately 12:40 in the morning.
When law enforcement and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene of the accident, they discovered a red, two-door Scion car with two occupants still in the motor vehicle. The two accident victims are listed in stable medical condition. Her front-seat passenger was also transported to NYC Health & Hospital Bellevue. He tragically passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad has been investigating the fatal motor vehicle accidents. The preliminary accident report states that the accident was caused by a failure to navigate the roadway.
