The fatal crash happened in the Kensington section of Brooklyn just before 4:00 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2019. Investigators for the New York City Police Department are investigating the crash. A violent motor vehicle collision interrupted the quiet pre-dawn Memorial Day hours in the Kensington neighborhood of Brooklyn. New York City Police officers said that a motorcycle rider from Brooklyn tried to take a left-hand turn off of Ocean Parkway onto Beverly Road and collided with an Infiniti Q50 sedan traveling north on Ocean Parkway according to WPIX. The collision took place just before 4:00 a.m.

According to police, the man was not conscious and appeared to have suffered massive trauma over the majority of his body. The motorcyclist was still alive at that time.
