The news report states that a Dodge Charger ran a red light at Dekalb Avenue and Bedford Avenue, and then collided with the Uber at approximately 12:30 in the morning.
The news article states that the surveillance camera video captured the collision. The impact pushed the Uber driver’s Honda Accord westbound along Dekalb Avenue, onto a sidewalk, and into the front of a deli. The victim, a 32-year-old female passenger, was ejected out of the Uber due to the force of the impact. She sustained personal injuries, and she was transported to Bellevue Hospital. She is listed as being in critical condition.
