New York City has made traffic safety a priority. The Vision Zero initiative led to the fewest pedestrian deaths in the city since 1910, which is when the city started tracking pedestrian fatalities. Despite the improvements, hit-and-run accidents are on the rise, and many drivers get away with leaving the scene. The vast majority of hit-and-runs only involve property damage, but overall, only 1% of these accidents leadto an arrest. Our Brooklyn Personal Injury Lawyers are reviewing injury claims to help victims recover maximum compensation.
