In June, the Clark County Coroner ruled the use of a Taser was a contributing factor in the death of a 26-year-old man in police custody.

Clark County Sheriff Bill Young has promised an investigation of the use of Tasers, which the department began using in April 2003.

Tasers two small barbs that are connected to wires that send 50,000 volts of electricity into the body.
