CLARK, N.J. — A 71-year-old female was rushed to the hospital and subsequently died from her injuries in Clark New Jersey. The woman died as a result of her injuries she sustained when struck by a motor vehicle that was exiting a shopping plaza according to Tapinto.net. The article did not mention the time of the accident. However, Clark, New Jersey police officers confirmed that the woman died around 11:30 p.m. that evening. Police have asked for the public’s assistance and have asked witnesses to come forward with any information relating to the fatal crash.
Clark, N.J. police reported that the 71-year-old woman who died was a resident of Metuchen, New Jersey. Police said that a vehicle exiting a shopping Plaza took a right-hand turn and struck the woman. A medical helicopter flew the stricken woman to University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. The news report indicated that the pedestrian sustained severe head injuries. Sadly, the woman perished as a result of those head injuries.
Police did not identify the driver of the car that hit the pedestrian. The Clark Chief of Police mentioned that the driver stayed with the car at the scene of the crash and cooperated with the investigating police officers.
