The woman was suddenly hit by a postal truck that was heading in an eastbound direction along Cozine Avenue. According to law enforcement, the fatal collision took place at 1:50 a.m.
The 20-year-old woman tragically passed away as a result of the impact. She died at the scene of the accident. The victim’s name was not made public. The 48-year-old U.S. Postal Service truck driver sustained a head injury, and he was transported to Brookdale University Hospital. The truck driver is listed in stable condition.
