A fall hazard has prompted Le Hing Inc., of South El Monte, Calif. to recall <"https://www.yourlawyer.com/practice_areas/product_liability">baby walkers it imported from Taiwan. The walkers were sold at independent retailers and discount stores in California and Arizona from June 2009 through August 2009.
According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), these baby walkers can fit through a standard doorway and are not designed to stop at the edge of a step. Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed. As of this time, no injuries or incidents have been reported, the agency said.
The recalled baby walkers are intended for babies 6 months and older. The item number L-0809EN is printed on the side of the box. The walkers are blue or pink with a white tray. They were priced between $25 and $28.
Consumers should stop using these walkers immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund.
