About 4,000 <"https://www.yourlawyer.com/practice_areas/product_liability">Kawasaki 2010 KLX110 Off-Road Motorcycles are being recalled by the Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A., the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) just announced. The COSC is advising consumer to stop using the product immediately and that it is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
The recalled Kawasaki 2010 KLX110 Off-Road Motorcycles, which were manufactured in Thailand were distributed by Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A., of Irvine, California.
A faulty housing for the ignition switch can allow water to enter and activate the electric starter unintentionally. This poses a serious hazard of injury or death. To date, no incidents or injuries have been reported.
This recall involves Kawasaki 2010 model year KLX110CAF and KLX110DAF off-road motorcycles, which were sold in green and have Kawasaki written on the sides of the fuel tank. The recalled Kawasaki 2010 KLX110 Off-Road Motorcycles were sold for about $2,100 by Kawasaki dealers nationwide from August 2009 through February 2010.
The CPSC is advising consumers to stop using the recalled Kawasaki 2010 KLX110 Off-Road Motorcycles immediately and contact a local Kawasaki Motorcycle dealer to schedule an appointment for a free repair. The company has attempted to contact all known users.
