A lawsuit has just been filed on behalf of a man who is alleging that negligent conditions at the Georgetown Square Condominiums in Poughkeepsie, New York, caused him to trip and fall, which led to severe and permanent injuries. The lawsuit also alleges that the conditions in the parking garage were negligent.
The man was a tenant of the building and was leasing an apartment from one of the defendants when, according to the complaint, on February 29, 2012, he tripped and fell. The lawsuit alleges that the severe and permanent injuries he sustained were caused by the dangerous and defective conditions on the premises of the parking lot and condominium.
According to the lawsuit, the man suffered from pain, shock, and mental anguish as a result of his injury. The lawsuit also alleges that these damages will lead to the man having to deal with ongoing expenses for medical care and attention.
The lawsuit also alleges that the man will continue to be unable to perform normal activities.
The national law firm, Parker Waichman LLP, filed the lawsuit on behalf of the plaintiff on May 22, 2012 in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Dutchess County (Case No. 2008748).
