A recall has been issued in Canada for all lots of <"https://www.yourlawyer.com/practice_areas/defective_drugs">Omega Alpha Kidney Flush. According to a notice from Health Canada, Omega Alpha Kidney Flush is being recalled due to the omission of cautionary and warning statements on the product label.
Omega Alpha Kidney Flush may present risks to the health of certain vulnerable populations, such as individuals with cardiovascular disease, kidney, high blood pressure, liver or gall bladder disorders, allergies to plants of the Poaceae and/or Asteraceae/Compositae family as well as pregnant or breast-feeding women. Due to a combination of medicinal ingredients, it should not be used for an extended period of time, or by anyone with any of these conditions, Health Canada said.
Omega Alpha Kidney Flush was sold at retail locations in Ontario, Québec, British Columbia and Alberta. Consumers should return the product, either to the place of purchase or directly to Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals Inc., for a refund. To arrange for return of the product, consumers can return the product to the store where purchased for a full refund, or contact this toll free number 1-800-651-3172 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday for more information on this recall.
Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals Inc. has stopped the sale of “Omega Alpha Kidney Flush” and is following-up with their retailers. In future, any new product being sold will contain all the risk information in accordance with the product license (NPN 80023986) issued by Health Canada.
Health Canada is advising consumers to speak to their healthcare practitioner with any questions or concerns regarding further use of these products. The agency is also asking consumers to report any adverse reaction potentially related to these products to Health Canada.
