According to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration announcement, Coppertone has initiated a recall of certain popular aerosol sunscreen products. The affected sunscreen products include certain lots of Sport Mineral SPF 50 Spray, Pure & Simple SPF 50 Spray, and Travel-Size (1.6OZ) Coppertone® Sport Spray SPF 50. The recalled aerosols sunscreen sprays were recalled due to benzene contamination. The specific lots of Coppertone aerosol sunscreen spray products that are being recalled were manufactured between January 10, 2021, and June 15, 2021.
