Coppertone® Sunscreen Recalls

According to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration announcement, Coppertone has initiated a recall of certain popular aerosol sunscreen products. The affected sunscreen products include certain lots of Sport Mineral SPF 50 Spray, Pure & Simple SPF 50 Spray, and Travel-Size (1.6OZ) Coppertone® Sport Spray SPF 50. The recalled aerosols sunscreen sprays were recalled due to benzene contamination. The specific lots of Coppertone aerosol sunscreen spray products that are being recalled were manufactured between January 10, 2021, and June 15, 2021.

The twelve lots of Coppertone aerosol spray products that are being recalled include:

• Coppertone® Pure & Simple Baby SPF50 Spray 5OZ, 12S TN0083J, with the manufacturing date of 1/10/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028817.
• Coppertone® Pure & Simple Baby SPF50 Spray 5OZ, 12S TN0083K, with a manufacturing date of 1/11/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028817.
• Coppertone® Pure & Simple Kids SPF50 Spray 5OZ 12S TN00854, with a manufacturing date of 1/12/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028824.
• Coppertone® Pure & Simple Kids SPF50 Spray 5OZ 12S TN00855, with a manufacturing date of 1/14/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028824.
• Coppertone® Sport Mineral SPF50 Spray 5OZ 12S TN008KU, with a manufacturing date of 3/15/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028701.
• Coppertone® SPORT Mineral SPF50 Spray 5OZ 12S TN008KV, with a manufacturing date of 3/16/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028701.
• Coppertone® Pure & Simple SPF50 Spray 5OZ 12S TN00BR2, with a manufacturing date of 3/31/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028800.
• Coppertone® Pure & Simple Baby SPF50 Spray 5OZ 12S TN009GH, with a manufacturing date of 3/31/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028817.

• Coppertone® Pure & Simple KIDS SPF50 Spray 5OZ 12S TN00CJV, with a manufacturing date of 6/15/2021, and the UPC Code 00072140028824.
