According to Indianapolis (WISH), the Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a safety recall of Disney “My First” figurines because of a choking hazard. The Consumer Product Safety Commission stated that there had been several reports of small pieces detaching from figurines posing a choking hazard. The recalled Disney figurines were made in China and imported by Kids Preferred.
Parents and caregivers should immediately remove the recalled toys from their children and then contact Kids Preferred to receive instructions on receiving a refund. People who register for the recall will obtain a pre-paid shipping label to return the toy to the company to receive a refund.
This toy recall concerns Disney soft vinyl figurines such as Buzz Lightyear, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, and Stitch. According to the report, some figurines have a bead rattle. The affected toy figurines measure around 4.25 to 5.25 inches tall. For more information, visit kidspreferred.com. The recalled figurines were sold on Amazon, Bye Bye Baby, and other toy retailers.
