Recalled Durabrand DVD Players Can Overheat. The August 20, 2009 recall of Durabrand DVD Players imported by Wal-Mart has been expanded, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) just announced.
The updated recall now involves about 4.2 million Durabrand DVD Players and has been expanded to include the pink and purple versions of the same DVD player recalled in August. In August about 1.5 million silver Durabrand DVD Players were recalled.
