BioSensory Recalled Bed Bug Monitors And Mosquito Traps For Laceration Hazard. BioSensory, Inc., of Putnam, Connecticut has recalled about 70 Dragonfly II Mosquito Traps and 1,500 NightWatch Bed Bug Monitors due to laceration or burn hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) just announced. Both the NightWatch Bed Bug Monitors and the Dragonfly II Mosquito Traps were manufactured in China.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) pressure sensors inside these products can crack and leak or burst causing the release of CO2. This could cause cracks with sharp edges that could cut a consumer’s hand, or direct CO2 discharge could cause a frostbite-like burn to a consumer’s hand.
To date, no injuries or incidents have been reported.
