According to an online news report posted on wsaw.com, nearly 333,000 Mushie FRIGG silicone pacifiers were recalled due to a potential choking hazard. Mushie & Co has already received eight incident reports describing a defect that causes the silicone nipple to detach from the pacifier’s plastic shield. Mushie & Co also has received around 200 incident reports from outside the United States.

Consumers are urged to immediately stop using these recalled silicone baby pacifiers and are asked to contact the company to receive a credit or full refund. Mushie & Co states that customers may receive their full refund or credit after cutting off the silicone nipple from the pacifier’s base and sending the company a photo of the detached silicone nipple. Customers are urged to properly throw both pieces of the pacifier into the trash.

The recalled FRIGG silicone pacifiers were sold in two designs: Daisy and Classic. The Classic design has a round plastic shield. The Daisy silicone nipple pacifier has a scalloped plastic shield. The pacifiers were sold in two different sizes: 0–6 months and 6–18 months. The word “FRIGG” is located on the handle of the pacifier’s shield. The affected FRIGG silicone pacifiers were sold in 40 different colors.

The affected pacifiers were sold at Lil Tulips, TJ Maxx, SpearmintLOVE, Olivia & Jade Company stores nationwide and online on Amazon.com and mushie.com from April 2021 through December 2021. The retail price was around $8 for one pacifier or $15 for two pacifiers.
