The 7-ounce packages of Lily’s Peppermint Flavor Baking Chips could harm individuals who have a severe allergy to soy and those who must avoid sugar. The recall announcement warns people with a soy allergen or sugar-related medical condition to avoid consuming the product.

Lily’s Peppermint Flavor Baking Chips are labeled as “sugar-free.” However, the FDA has reported that the company’s Lily’s Peppermint Flavor Baking Chips that are sold in 7-ounce packages are dangerous to some people with a food allergy to soy and can injure people who must avoid sugar. The recalled product is sold exclusively at Walmart stores.
