Traffic Delays on Goethals Bridge Following Crash

STATEN ISLAND, NY- The silive.com reports that commuters experienced delays on Monday morning, June 4, 2018, following an accident on Goethals Bridge.

Traffic heading towards New Jersey was already moving slowly because of construction work. The accident caused delays for drivers heading towards Staten Island as well. The Staten Island Expressway was moving slowly as well.

Heavy traffic conditions can increase the number of car accidents that occur. Over the past few years, there has been an increase in drivers on the road. Thisalone can cause an increase in traffic-accidents because the more peopledriving, the more people on the road to potentially be involved in crashes.
