Car Accident In Brooklyn Left A Man Burned. Two separate car accidents in Brooklyn left one man badly burned and two others injured, Daily News reports.
Police say that on Monday night at around 7:09 p.m., a 30-year-old man driving a silver Honda sedan collided with an Infiniti at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and Quentin Road in Sheepshead Bay. The accident propelled the Infiniti into a light pole, and the vehicle caught on fire as the 37-year-old driver fled.
He was rushed to Staten Island University Medical Center with severe burns. Doctors listed him in grave condition, Daily News reports.

“I heard a loud bang and when I looked, the guy got out of the car and he was in flames … He was walking like a zombie, full of flames. He was in shock,” said Anne-Marie Haak, who lives on the block, to Daily News. “People were screaming, ‘Stop, drop and roll! Stop, drop and roll!'” The driver of the Honda sedan was taken to Lutheran Medical Center in stable condition.
A separate accident left two people hospitalized in stable condition. The accident involved a white BMW and another car on Coney Island Avenue near Avenue O.
