According to qns.com, an 18-year-old teenager from Brooklyn, New York, was tragically killed in a Howard Beach accident on Monday, December 7, 2020, at approximately 8:45 p.m. The motor vehicle accident resulted in severe injuries to the driver as well as two other passengers. All three were transported to a local area hospital. Tragically, the 18-year-old Brooklyn teenager, was pronounced deceased while being treated at the hospital.
Accident investigators stated that the accident occurred when the 18-year-old was driving along the Nassau Expressway and onto an exit ramp leading to the Belt Parkway. The news report alleges that the driver realized she was taking the wrong exiting the Nassau Expressway at the wrong exit and attempted to re-enter the expressway. The driver crossed a grass median and lost control of the motor vehicle. According to the NYPD, the vehicle then flipped over onto North Conduit Avenue and ejected one of the passengers onto the road.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
