Three People Injured in a School Bus Accident

VALHALLA, NY – According to the dailyvoice.com, a crash involving a school bus took place on Friday, January 4, 2019, at about 7:24 in the morning. The bus was driving up a hill in Mount Pleasant when it skidded on the icy road close to the Westchester Community College.

Reports indicate the bus struck a utility pole before sliding back down the roadway and striking an embankment.

Two teenagers, a monitor, and the driver were on the bus at the time of the crash. The two teens sustained injuries, and the monitor broke a leg. The injured persons were brought to the Westchester Medical Center.

The reports do not say which school the students were from, but Michael Pierce, the Mount Pleasant Police Captain, stated that the bus was owned by Beverly Hills Limo, but that Royal Coach Lines was operating the vehicle at the time of the crash.
