Parents are being warned not to allow their babies to sleep on nursing pillows or other similar products. Data linked 28 fatalities to nursing pillows so far.

Statistics indicate that close to 1,000 infants are killed every year because they suffocate in their sleep. The pillow warning is one of several sleep-related notices officials released following an investigation.
