Shanghai FDA Removed All US-made ReNu MoistureLoc. The Shanghai Food and Drug Administration said all US-made ‘ReNu’ MoistureLoc contact lens solution has been removed from stores across the city while US authorities are reportedly investigating a ReNu MultiPlus solution made by Bausch & Lomb.

About 98 percent of ‘ReNu’ with MoistureLoc sold on the Chinese mainland is made in Beijing. The remainder is imported from the United States. SFDA said authorities ordered stores to pull the product in mid April. Customers can exchange US-made solution with domestically-made products.
Bausch & Lomb China claimed all ‘ReNu’ MultiPlus solution sold on the mainland is produced domestically and people need not be anxious about the investigation in the United States.
