Fatal accident in Tampa, Florida
According to an online news article posted on patch.com, a fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Dale Mabry Highway and Lazy Lane in Tampa, Florida. The accident happened on Thursday, December 16, 2020, at approximately 4:15 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol stated that the Tampa man was driving eastbound along Lazy Lane, and he stopped at a stop sign along the Dale Mabry Highway. At that time, a 34-year-old man from Tampa, Florida, was heading southbound along South Dale Mabry.
According to the accident news report, the 24-year-old man from Tampa attempted to make a left-hand turn and proceeded into the path of the other driver resulting in a severe accident.
Unfortunately, the 24-year-old Tampa man was not wearing a seatbelt, and he was tragically ejected from his car during the collision. He passed away at the scene of the accident. The report does not provide the medical condition of the other driver. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal auto accident.
