A New Jersey company Recalls Key Chains A New Jersey company is recalling about 8,000 “Bottle Cap Bear” key chains because a miniature Coca-Cola bottle attached to the plush bear could come off, creating a choking hazard for small children.
Team Beans, of East Brunswick, has not received any reports of injuries or of bottles coming off, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.
The recalled 4-inch key chains feature a plush white bear
The recalled 4-inch key chains feature a plush white bear holding a miniature bottle in its left paw. The bear’s outfit features an auto racing theme with a featured driver’s racing number printed on the bear’s front and the words “THE COCA-COLA RACING FAMILY” on the back.
Auto racing souvenir shops and collectible stores nationwide sold the key chains from January 2000 through July 2002.
