The Scarsdale Police Department stated in an official police press release that a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the Village. The press release stated that at around 8:09 a.m. on October 7, 2020, the Scarsdale Police Department were called out to an automobile accident that involved a female pedestrian. The pedestrian had sustained a serious injury.
The accident occurred at Church Lane and Crane Road. The victim of the pedestrian accident was treated at the scene of the accident by Scarsdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps paramedics, and the woman was rushed to the Westchester Medical Center.
