Allergy Bee Gone Lawsuits

The recall states that certain lots were tested, and traces of a dangerous bacteria called Bacillus cereus was discovered. The bacteria can cause anyone to become ill but can cause life-threatening illnesses in small children, the elderly, and autoimmune compromised. U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) testing discovered that some Allergy Bee Gone products contained high levels of mold and yeast. Moreover, the test samples also tested positive for Bacillus cereus.
The manufacturer, Buzzagogo, announced that their Allergy Bee Gone product is sold in individual tubes and is used topically inside the nose. The product is also primarily used in children to alleviate allergy symptoms. Buzzagoog initiated a product recall for one lot of its Allergy Bee Gone after testing discovered the contaminants.
To determine if your Allergy Bee Gone is part of the recalled batch, look for lot #2006491, with an expiration date of 8/2024, and a UPC code of 860002022116. The expiration date and lot number can be located on the bottom of the box.
Buzzagogo marketed their Allergy Bee Gone throughout the United States at various retailers, Amazon.com, and the company’s website.
Customers who use the recalled product risk developing a Bacillus cereus infection. Customers who are non-immunocompromised could develop severe medical complications. Noninvasive fungal rhinosinusitis and Bacteremia are the potential side effects. However, healthy people could experience less serious bacterial infections. Immunocompromised customers could suffer severe illness, which could become fatal. Adverse side effects include pneumonia, bacteremia/sepsis, disseminated fungal infection, and invasive fungal rhinosinusitis.
