On October 24, 2022, Whele LLC (doing business as Perch) announced the recall of 544,212 Mighty Bliss Electric Heating Pad units, sold online through Amazon.com and Walmart.com between July 2021 and July 2022. The Model Numbers and Descriptions are as follows:
The pad should no longer be used, but need not be returned. Pad owners can receive a refund by cutting the cord off the pad, photographing it and uploading the image to the company’s website.
Prior to the recall, the Mighty Bliss Large Electric Heating Pad, priced at $30, was highly rated by Amazon customers. Produced in L or XL sizes and made of micro plush fibers, it had over 83,000 5-star reviews.
