Juul Labs Inc Settles for $462 Million with Six U.S. States, Including California and New York, Over Unlawful Marketing of Vapes to Minors

Juul Labs Inc has recently agreed to pay $462 million to settle lawsuits filed by six U.S. states, including California and New York, that the company marketed its addictive products to minors unlawfully. The deal brings the total number of states that Juul has settled with to 45 for more than $1 billion. However, the company did not admit wrongdoing in the settlement. The states involved in the settlement include Colorado, Massachusetts, Illinois, and New Mexico, and the District of Columbia.
