Pedestrian accident injuries
FORDHAM, BRONX, NY – June 18, 2020 – According to an online news report posted on abc7ny.com, numerous pedestrians and cyclists sustained severe injuries when a speeding car crashed into several pedestrians legally crossing streets at a Bronx intersection. The horrific video posted on ABC7NY.com shows a car speeding into an intersection and slamming into several vulnerable pedestrians. The pedestrian accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the Fordham section of the Bronx.
The video was captured by a witness’ auto dashcam. The video shows a car speeding through the intersection at Jerome Avenue and East Fordham Road and then striking numerous pedestrians attempting to cross the street. Two victims were riding bicycles. Other victims include bystanders on a sidewalk and people at and possibly inside a vendor’s cart. In total, police stated seven individuals sustained injuries. The 43-year-old driver was arrested, and criminal charges are pending.
